Change Quicksilver Internet Password

Use this form to change your Quicksilver Internet password.

Please read the guidelines on how to choose a good password carefully. It is important that you choose a good password as this is the password to your email, dial and webspace.

Guidelines to choose a good password

  1. Your password is case sensitive. So please type carefully. "Auckland" is not the same as "auckLanD"
  2. Your password should be at least 6 characters, of which there should be at least 2 numberic and 2 alphabetic characters.
  3. No spaces please.
  4. Please do not use common words. You should avoid popular words like "password", "internet" and "hello".
  5. Please do not use your username or your name as your password. Also not words that are easily associated with you.
  6. Although long passwords may sometimes be safer, you may find it frustrating to type 15 characters as the likelihood of typos is high. So please keep it to 8 characters long.
  7. While it is often said that you should not write down your password, we realise that people often forget it. If you have to write it down, please store it somewhere safe, and don't write it down with your username.
